It’s a fact that many Steam users don’t check or even notice most Greenlight additions. There are simply too many, making it rather time-consuming. Hoping to alleviate this problem somewhat, I bring you The Greenlight Groove, featuring my recommendations from the past week!
Keep in mind that those listed below are by no means the only new arrivals, simply those I gave my ‘yes’ vote. With that in mind, would you kindly help make sure none end up as a potential Stuck In Greenlight Limbo candidate, by voting? Oh and do provide their creators with feedback. I’m sure they’ll appreciate anything, as long as it’s expressed properly (please, be nice).
No More Probes
‘No More Probes’ is my small personal project and can be best described as a survival game mixed with strategy elements, where you play as a homeless war veteran living in a junkyard, who happens to be humanity last chance for salvation.

Awe is a god-game about expressing one’s creativity by shaping and building planets’ ecosystems in a soothing and relaxing ambiance carried by beautiful, minimalist lowpoly 3D art style and atmospheric music.

But inevitably, something goes wrong, and it’s up to you to figure out what each of the passengers is hiding. Legends of Pixelia [IndieGogo]
Legends of Pixelia is an action role-playing game that combines retro pixelart with modern gameplay mechanics. Tired of left-clicking through hordes of brainless one-hit-KO enemies? He has to fight his way through ten floors of grenade turrets, electrified panels, laser fences and all the mutant bioweapons to deliver his package and find out how to escape.
Concealed Intent
Players control their ships in a completely 3D world – hunting down their enemies, just as they are being hunted themselves! In Concealed Intent you know your enemies are out there, but not exactly where, or even what they are. The fun comes from out-thinking your opponent rather than any test of reaction speed.
Tahira: Echoes of the Astral Empire [Kickstarter]
You are Princess Tahira of Avestan, a small kingdom to the west of humanity’s last great city, Babylon. The death of your brother has left you as the sole, unwilling heir to the Throne. Part-way through the level, the Boss Wave starts. This section transitions the game into an infinite runner with a massive robot boss chasing you. If you don’t destroy it before time runs out, it’s game over.
Dream.Sim
A first person virtual exploration adventure set in a wild open world. Objective? Just wander. It’s a digital materialization of the protagonist dreams open to contemplation by a curious explorer, in short: a dream.sim.
Infernax [Kickstarter]
Infernax is our tribute to the NES era. Basically, if we had been devs back then, this is the game Berzerk Studio would have came up with. We did our best to capture everything that made games captivating, challenging and sometimes frustrating in that era and give it the Berzerk treatment.
Orc Assault
Once upon a time all was peaceful and serene in the far off land of Camalon, but the silence has been broken as the Orc hordes have returned to the kingdom to claim the land that they once held sacred. The only thing stopping them from conquering the innocent people of Camalon is your arsenal of weapons and advanced research towers.
MidBoss
MidBoss is a video game about possessing your defeated enemies in order to become stronger. You play the weakest of the dungeon denizens, an imp with no ability other than possessing other creatures. Your goal is to defeat and possess increasingly stronger creatures, unlocking their abilities for yourself and becoming stronger as you go along, and eventually defeat and become the dungeon’s ultimate endboss.
The Darkside Detective
Where cultists crawl, where demons dwell, where the occult… occults? you’ll find Detective Francis McQueen, the sole member of the criminally underfunded Darkside Division. When evil darkens the doorsteps of Twin Lakes City – hell, even when it just loiters around shop fronts or hangs out in shady alleyways – he’s there, ready to investigate the cases that nobody else will. He is The Darkside Detective.
