
It’s a fact that many Steam users don’t check or even notice most Greenlight additions. There are simply too many, making it rather time-consuming. Hoping to alleviate this problem somewhat, I bring you The Greenlight Groove, featuring my recommendations from the past week!
Keep in mind that those listed below are by no means the only new arrivals, simply those I gave my ‘yes’ vote. With that in mind, would you kindly help make sure none end up as a potential Stuck In Greenlight Limbo candidate, by voting? Oh and do provide their creators with feedback. I’m sure they’ll appreciate anything, as long as it’s expressed properly (please, be nice).
Crystal Catacombs
Crystal Catacombs is a challenging, retro inspired “Megavanian” love letter that utilizes Roguelike procedurally generated levels/enemies/items with a heavy emphasis on classic 2D platforming. Discover, equip, use, and master an assortment of varied weapons, magic spells and upgrades.
Path of Shadows
You control a reborn warrior in a mission to rescue a mysterious deity from a temple fortress. To aid you in this task, you are given the power of Shadow Control. To infiltrate the temple you will need to sneak past guards, teleport between shadows, create your own areas of darkness and strategically assassinate your targets.
StarCrawlers
You’re a Crawler, and that means you work for those that can pay. Asset recovery, commercial espionage, and mayhem for hire are just a few of your crew’s specialized services. If something shady needs doing, chances are a Crawler will be involved. Succeed and you’ll be rewarded with better pay then any corp drone can dream of. Plus, you’ll earn the respect of the eclectic assortment of merchants, opportunists and adventurers who make their home in the fringes of space.
Disrupt
In Disrupt you emerge into the cyber warfare world in the role of a hacker who has gained access into the secret governmental operating system called NexOS. The operating system allows you to play the role of Big Brother and control the main cyber-infrastructures of cities. You will be facing choices throughout the game, from hacking police servers for personal gain, stealing research data, framing people to being a Robin Hood of modern time – diverting the dirty money of politicians to the people in need, or just keeping it for yourself. Your decision will have an impact around the environment, making news outlets turn you image into a villain or hero.
Circuits
Simple in concept, but very challenging and rewarding, Circuits is a puzzle game that requires careful listening to complete each level.
Ultimate General: Gettysburg
Ultimate General: Gettysburg is a Tactical Battle Simulator that allows you to lead thousands of soldiers in the famous Battle of Gettysburg as commander of either the Union or Confederate army. The game will feature the most accurately created map, detailed order of battle, complex morale, innovative control mechanics and smart AI. You will have the freedom to use different strategies while the battle progresses. Your decisions and military performance play a crucial role in the result. Participate in the Gettysburg Battle and change history!
Noir Syndrome
Noir Syndrome is a procedurally generated Detective Murder-Mystery with a new story every time! Featuring slick pixel art animations and a jazzy soundtrack, the player is thrown right in to a highly stylized vision of film noir. Visit locations, interrogate suspects, search for clues, and eventually solve the case before the killer escapes – or you wind up dead yourself.

You are a shepherd of birds. Starting with just one bird, your flock will grow as you find others to join you in your travels. You and the birds are part of the myth of this world.

Maybe if you had studied, you would know the answers… but you didn’t. Luckily for you, your classmates did. And they’re dolphins.
Glitchspace
Set in a cyberspace world, you are trying to find a place known as Glitchspace – a by-product of cyberspace and its various glitches. A world that would allow for infinite possibilities, and access across all systems in cyberspace through exploitation. Through problem solving, it’s up to you how you approach the in-game challenges; find glitches in the cyberspace world, and exploit them in various different ways, allowing for a emergent play experience.
Monstrum
Monstrum is a first person survival horror game which finds players stranded aboard a vast, derelict ship filled with traps, environmental hazards, and another passenger in the shape of a terrifying and deadly beast. With no means to take their pursuer down the player must search the ship to discover a possible means of escape, using their wits and guile to evade the monster hunting them, running, hiding and luring it away with distractions to avoid getting killed.
Woolfe – The Red Hood Diaries
In this fantasy / steampunk setting – with dangerous smoke-spewing factories, a charming medieval village and nature manipulated by evil – we follow the journey of a fearless Little Red Riding Hood. The well-known voyage to her grandmother’s house is only a fraction of this immersive visual adventure.
Hyper Gauntlet: Legacy of Nozzlethruster III
Enter the Hyper Gauntlet, an adrenaline infused manic dodge-em-up arena of high-speed obstacles and twitch reaction. Hurtle ever forwards through gaps between blue and red obstacles. With each obstacle passed your score increases, but so does your speed! Use the tactical slow motion to postpone the inevitable and rack up the high score.
