It’s a fact that many Steam users don’t check or even notice most Greenlight additions. There are simply too many, making it rather time-consuming. Hoping to alleviate this problem somewhat, I bring you The Greenlight Groove, featuring my recommendations from the past week!
As you go through the list below, keep in mind that these are by no means the only new arrivals, simply those I decided to give my ‘yes’ vote (hence, recommendations). With that in mind, would you kindly help make sure none of them end up as a potential Stuck In Greenlight Limbo candidate, by casting a vote? And while you’re at it, do provide their creators with feedback. Good and/or bad, I’m sure they’ll appreciate both, as long as it’s expressed properly.

Throw Trucks With Your Mind
Throw Trucks With Your Mind is an arena-based first-person thinker with a focus on team-based multiplayer combat. At launch, the game will include the game modes Deathmatch, Team Deathmatch, Capture The Fridge (our peculiar variant on Capture The Flag), King Of The Hill, and Hunt The Hunters, where you and any number of your friends fight a team of computer-controlled bots equipped with guns instead of psychic powers. The game will support multiplayer of up to 32 players.
The Slaughter
A serial killer is terrorizing the streets of Victorian London, and private investigator Sydney Emerson has hit a new low between finding lost dogs and receiving alleyway beatings. A turn of events sees Sydney forgoing his selfish nature and thrusting himself into perilous and increasingly surreal situations, walking the line between dreams and reality. Explore the seedy streets of Victorian London, searching the slums, taverns, opium dens and even Sydney’s dreams and hallucinations for leads.
Crowman & Wolfboy
Crowman & Wolfboy are an unlikely pair of shadow creatures on a bizarre journey to escape their own nature and find the mysterious “humans”. Help them flee the planet of shadows and the life-devouring Darkness following their every step. Will the path to “humans” lead Crowman & Wolfboy to happiness? Will they ever escape the persistent Darkness? Could a real life crow lift a real life wolf over pits of mutant garbage cans? …What?!
Warp Derby
Warp Derby is a multiplayer vehicular combat game where you use a Warp Gun to place warps that can teleport opponents into deadly hazards throughout the map. The game focuses on indirect combat where your weapons knock foes around the arena rather than damaging them outright. This allows players to make clever use of their warps and the environment to destroy their foes.
Breach & Clear
Choose your real-world squad — Play as US Army Rangers, US Navy Seals, Canada’s JTF2, British SAS, or Army Special Forces– and take on a variety of foes with different skill-sets and abilities. Learn to approach, engage, and dominate your opponent through superior tactics and training, while leveling your characters in an incredibly deep progression system.
Hunting Anubis
Hunting Anubis is a single/multiplayer combat flight sim focusing on near future drone warfare. Currently in a free, open Beta period. Dogfight enemies fully autonomous or remotely manned in the endless fight for the skies of the 21st century.
CATDAMMIT! Director’s Cat
It was just one of these mornings. Roman, a drunk, milcoholic cat was taking a hangover nap in a dirty backalley thinking that nothing worse in the world could ever happen to his sorry bottom. But when he found a chainsaw in the depths of a local dumpster – he had to change his statement. The chainsaw immediately got stuck to his filthy paws, TURED ON and dragged him towards the city streets filled with kawaii inhabitants. This is how CATDAMMIT! begins. Roman can’t stop and nothing can stop Roman.
Avoid
You play as a ship whose mission is to survive as long as possible dodging obstacles and enemies with the help of various power ups. All this while the background follows the music like a visualizer.
Stonerid
Stonerid is an unusual and really difficult 2D platformer, which the most important feature are two parallel, different worlds. To finish each of 32 different levels, one must deftly use differences between alternative dimensions. Unconventional game style and lots of dangerous traps and monsters make it extremely difficult to rise to the challenge. The main task is to solve the mystery of toxic substances that have appeared unexpectedly on Atronast Mountain.
