Stuck In Greenlight Limbo: ‘Ultra Dance Murder’

Stuck In Greenlight Limbo: ‘Ultra Dance Murder’

This time the spotlight will be shining on Ultra Dance Murder, which is… uh, murder on the dance floor? Kinda? Maybe? Anyway, let’s help it escape the cold emptiness of Greenlight limbo!

A challenging twin stick arcade shooter with a fantastic heart pounding 80’s styled synthwave soundtrack, glitch art aesthetic, dance inspired combat, and the local multiplayer gameplay you love that either builds or destroys friendships.

Ah, local multiplayer – on the dance floor! A rarity for sure, although given its core gameplay components, this is likely going to be a dance of death, more than anything else. With a wealth of enemies in each mode (yes, deathmatch is included), you’ll need to hone those twin-stick shooting skills to avoid an untimely, and much too early, death. At least you’ll be accompanied by a rockin’ soundtrack and stylish visuals as you unload upon the relentless onslau – oh wait, did I mention the arenas themselves are also out to get ya? Better pay attention, or you just might get squashed. Squish… squash!

So riddle me this, dear reader: why is Ultra Dance Murder still struggling to get through Greenlight? It’s not out yet, but should be later this year (which could mean any day!). So, how about visiting its Greenlight page and handing over a ‘yes’ if you like what you see? Remember: your vote could make all the difference!

Wraithkal

Whenever a big AAA title claims it'll "innovate with groundbreaking features", it usually turns out to be a snore-fest; one which simply mimics other games (poorly). This is where my interest indie game interest comes from: pick a random title from a pile of these, and chances are you’ll end up with something genuinely unique - often for well less than $60 too.
