[Update: Greenlit] Stuck In Greenlight Limbo: ‘Resin’

[Update: Greenlit] Stuck In Greenlight Limbo: ‘Resin’

This time the spotlight will be shining on Resin, in which you gradually become weaker (wait, what?). Well then… let’s help it escape Greenlight limbo!

The events of the game are set in a fading world dominated by creatures who generate Warmth, one of the few remaining energy resources. The protagonist of the game is an android made of a substance called Resin. She is programmed to destroy the last living Warmth generators. On the other hand, she needs Warmth to continue existing.

Oh boy. This is bad. Very bad. The situation that is, not the game. Really bad. And yet, it sounds fiendishly delightful! We really don’t get to play the bad guy enough. Even less so, one hell-bent on destruction like this one. What? Oh, I know. I hear ya. Yes, she’s only doing it to survive… but what about everyone else who relies on those generators? Well, I guess there’s no hope for them. Too bad. Tough luck. Man, the nerve of that protagonist, putting its own life over that of everyone else’s. Something something binary.

So riddle me this, dear reader: why do YOU think Resin still hasn’t made it through Greenlight? The game ain’t out just yet, but even so -- how about visiting its Greenlight page and handing over a ‘yes’ if you like what you see? Remember: your vote could make all the difference!

Wraithkal

Whenever a big AAA title claims it'll "innovate with groundbreaking features", it usually turns out to be a snore-fest; one which simply mimics other games (poorly). This is where my interest indie game interest comes from: pick a random title from a pile of these, and chances are you’ll end up with something genuinely unique - often for well less than $60 too.
