This time the spotlight will be shining on Dudefish Episode 1: Squidsteen’s Legacy, a zany adventure about a guy who, quite literally, suddenly finds himself in a rather fishy situation. Let’s see if we can’t help it escape the cold emptiness of Greenlight limbo.
Follow the misadventures of Dudefish, a guy that suddenly wakes up as a fish. Find out why you are a fish and who made you that way. Discover a town filled with sea creatures in the same situation while trying to uncover the mystery of a dead founder called Squidsteen.
See what I mean? Fishy situation, right there. Having played a good bit of it, I’d say that this is one fans of humorous tales shouldn’t miss. These waters are overflowing with zany jokes, most of which come at the expense of our protagonist, along with exciting inventory puzzles; just like in the good old days of the genre! So what if you’re stuck in the body of a goldfish? Doesn’t mean you can’t have a pointy and clicky good time while trying to figure out who – or what – caused such a horrifying change. Oh, and that accent is just perfect for the sarcastic character of Dudefish! Something something… a splash and a splish.
So riddle me this, dear reader: why is Dudefish Episode 1: Squidsteen’s Legacy still struggling to get through Greenlight? It’s been out for a while (since October 2013), so lack of availability is certainly not the reason. If you haven’t done so already, might I recommend visiting its Greenlight page and handing over a ‘yes’, if you like what you see? Remember, your vote matters!
Dudefish Episode 1: Squidsteen’s Legacy is available for Windows, Mac and Linux from the official website, priced at $0 and without any DRM.
