Stuck In Greenlight Limbo: ‘DropCore’

Stuck In Greenlight Limbo: ‘DropCore’

This time the spotlight will be shining on DropCore, a rather tactical affair aspiring to keep the player on his/her toes at all times… So let’s help it escape Greenlight limbo!

The gameplay of dropcore is intented to focus on the consequences of player action, level and ai will primarily react to your tactical choice , your playstyle significantly changes your gameplay experience. Whether you want to perform surgical strikes or go out guns blazing, the game adapts and provide interesting twists and rewards you for different play styles.

Ah, gotta love surgical strikes. They never see it coming. Unless they do, at which point, well, crap. Right. Anyway, tactics! Strategy! Units! And more. Including something the above quote doesn’t mention, which is… customization. Lots and lots of customization. Items, abilities, weapons – heck, even enemies, I’m sure – can be tweaked to better fit the situation at hand, help you wind the war and all that good stuff. Because war, as is pretty much always the case, is hell. Doesn’t mean it can’t be fun though!

So riddle me this, dear reader: why do YOU think DropCore still hasn’t made it through Greenlight? The game ain’t out yet, save for a pre-alpha demo, but even so -- how about visiting its Greenlight page and handing over a ‘yes’ if you like what you see? Remember: your vote could make all the difference!

Wraithkal

Whenever a big AAA title claims it'll "innovate with groundbreaking features", it usually turns out to be a snore-fest; one which simply mimics other games (poorly). This is where my interest indie game interest comes from: pick a random title from a pile of these, and chances are you’ll end up with something genuinely unique - often for well less than $60 too.
