Many Steam users don’t check or even notice most Greenlight additions; there are simply too many, making it rather time-consuming. Hoping to alleviate this problem somewhat, I bring you The Greenlight Groove, featuring my recommendation(s) from the past week!
The Captain
You play as Captain Welmu, a 35 year old space pilot happily married with two children. In 2300 you get sent on a routine mission to explore an anomaly close to Mars Colony 03. Something goes wrong and the game starts with you waking up many light years away from home. You are ill equipped and in unknown space. Getting home at maximum speed will take you at least forty years. What to do now? You decide! You are the Captain!
Thy Sword
Thy Sword is an action rpg platformer in a fantasy setting. It draws inspiration from Norse mythology, Conan the Barbarian and great games like Golden Axe and Moonstone.
Dwindle
Dwindle is a psychological survival game set in an old 1902 American mine. A collapse has just occurred, trapping you and your crew of 23 other miners underground with limited food and supplies! You play as Bud Rook, the foreman of the mine. Your task is to guide your mining crew through the dangers and horrors of being trapped in a mine, and get them to safety. You’ll face external threats like additional collapses, poisonous gas, injuries, the darkness of the mine, and more in addition to the internal threats of ever increasing stress and psychological conditions that will drive you and your miners to the brink!
Causality
Causality is a tile based puzzle game, where players manipulate time, change events and alter the final outcome of each level. Set across strange and intriguing landscapes, players must help a group of stranded astronauts find a route to safety, with each level representing a brief but hazardous moment in time.
Suppressed
You start as a boy in a rural village, looking to escape your nation. Along the way, you face family death, fall into depression, and interact with others. Helping someone with an item lets you discover their unique story. With your and their stories combined, you discover the full extent of propaganda, poverty, and tyranny that dominates your nation.
