One block, then another. Add in a third, maybe a fourth. Perhaps more? Oh yeah! However many it takes to send a wave crashing towards your opponent in the hope that he/she/they won’t have mustered up the perfect defence in the meantime. Then, and only, shall you stand a chance at emerging victorious in WaveCrash!!.
On paper, it’s a rather simple concept: match blocks, and send them towards your opponent. At some point, one of you will run out of space, a victor declared… at which point another duel can begin. Why stop when you’re having fun, after all? There’s even the option of duking it out in 2v2 bouts, “customization options” to tweak… well, stuff, 10 characters each of which plays differently, and 5 different stages. Had to double-check, but sure enough, “the strongest mom in the universe” is among the special attacks in WaveCrash!!. Yeah.
WaveCrash!! is a competitive puzzle brawler that combines elements of fighting games and puzzle games to create a new take on the party fighter genre.
Oh right, almost forgot about the defensive aspect: simply put, you can hit an opponent’s wave to eliminate it. Pretty neat trick – if you can pull it off that is. See, each stage comes with its own unique twists – like Paw Plaza’s pet parade or the Forest Clearing’s shifting winds. Quite a bit to keep track of, and as such, faces will be smashed sooner or later as the competition heats up. With a little luck (and a lot of practice), it might not even be yours.
