Welcome to Yosemite National Park. From the outside, this certainly seems like a lovely chunk of nature, and I’m sure Eve – who’s dedicated years of her life to working as a ranger – would feel the same, if not for a few issues… that I won’t bore you with. Short version: she got fed up, lashed out, and ended up getting transferred to a remote cabin post. But perhaps this third episode of National Park Girls might bring a positive change of character, so to speak.
Oh right, completely forgot to mention that soon after Eve’s transfer, she was corned by three strange girls in the cabin. What makes them strange, you ask? Well, they claim to be manifestations of Zion, Yellowstone, and Yosemite National Parks. Don’t even think about trying to explain how that’s perfectly normal or go ‘ah, typical visual novel stuff’, because no. Just no. That’s strange, no matter how you look at it. Strange and, quite frankly, kind of intriguing.
Follow Eve as she gets closer with these spritely cuties that put the “natural” in “supernatural,” and maybe even discovers a new kind of love for the parks.
With a little bit of luck, this third part of the episodic tale will shed some light on just what is going on, perhaps even help Eve work out some personal issues; whenever she’s not busy dealing with Yosemite’s cranky behavior. On a related note, this time around we’ll actually be able to experience scenes from Yosemite’s perspective, which is bound to be useful, no matter how you may feel about head-hopping. As for what else National Park Girls – Episode 3: Daughter of Zion has in store… we’ll just have to wait and see!
National Park Girls – Episode 3: Daughter of Zion will be on Steam from November 6, 2020.
