Ah, Adventure Game Studio. Easily my favorite engine of all time, second only to… SCUMM (bet ya didn’t see that coming). Unlike most jams, which tend to last anything from 72 hours to a week, with no engine restriction, MAGS spans a full month and requires participants to use Adventure Game Studio. So who’s in the mood for some fresh freeware adventures?
As I explained last time (MAGS January), the theme for this particular jam is picked by the previous winner. This time it was ‘moustache’. Just moustache. Any style, length, color, etc. With that in mind, another thing to remember is that not only were these games created within a single month, but the lot is also completely free! So enjoy them for what they are and don’t expect hour-long sagas. Bite-sized gaming can be fun too, ya know. Don’t forget to vote.
Almost forgot: the end of MAGS March means MAGS April is upon us, and this time it’s all about… Shakespeare. Good luck!
