‘Holiday Local Multiplayer Bundle’ Hits the Couch for Offline Fun

‘Holiday Local Multiplayer Bundle’ Hits the Couch for Offline Fun

Remember when multiplayer gaming meant gathering on a couch in front of a TV to have a good time in the same game? A time without the hassle of lag, the need for voice chat, or possibly the worst offender if you look at your credit card, everyone needing to own a copy. A simpler time. A better time, in some cases, honestly. Oh, and that’s what the Holiday Local Multiplayer Bundle is all about. What a coincidence!

As with virtually every one of these bundles, the premise is nice and simple: $9.99 will get you… let’s see… 22 items? Wow. That’s a good deal. Less than 50 cents per game! What are you waiting for? No, really. Hmm… okay, suppose I could point out a select few personal favorites. Just ’cause.

You might have heard of some of these games, while others will be a complete mystery to you. But then again, that’s part of the joy in playing together, right? Discovering games with friends is something I vividly recall growing up. If you feel the same, hop in and enjoy!

Colorful chaos awaits in Joggernauts, while an entirely different kind of chaos can be found in Regular Human Basketball. Oh, and how about a monsters-versus-player experience, in Crawl? And did you know that waves can… crash? I mean, they certainly do in WaveCrash!! (I know, such clever wording).

Last, but by no means least, thanks to @flyover_games for the reminder.

Holiday Local Multiplayer Bundle has little over 16 days to go, after which it is going to disappear… forever.

Whenever a big AAA title claims it'll "innovate with groundbreaking features", it usually turns out to be a snore-fest; one which simply mimics other games (poorly). This is where my interest indie game interest comes from: pick a random title from a pile of these, and chances are you’ll end up with something genuinely unique - often for well less than $60 too.
