Build a Greenlight (Bundle) For the Ninth Time

Build a Greenlight (Bundle) For the Ninth Time

Hey look, another mix-and-match Greenlight-centric bundle from Groupees! Like its precursor, this one brings both old and spankin’ new submissions with it, and quite the variety, making for an interesting and cheap lineup.

Alright, $1 for four games, the price goes up with each additional title added, and all eight will set ya back a grand total of $2.98 (or more, if you’re feeling generous). Once unlocked, two extras will be included, the first of which is Wickland (Greenlight), an FPS inspired by classic 90’s shooters. Neat, eh? Also, be sure to vote, or else… OR ELSE!

Bloody Streets

Bloody Streets (Windows – Desura) Greenlight [trailer]
Bloody Streets is a 2D top-down brutal and challenging shooter game with lots of blood. The game has been developed by our indie game development team, Headless Wizard. It is a modern remake of classic top down shooter formulas and our goal was to reinvent the feel of the old arcade games with the desired quality by the players today.

Snow Light

Snow Light (Windows, Linux – DRM-free) Greenlight [trailer]
Snow Light is a story telling based visual novel (a mix between visual and digital graphic novel), a kind of interactive graphic novel. The story focus on narrative and takes place in a nearby futurist world.

Hearthlands

Hearthlands (Windows, Mac, Linux – DRM-free) Greenlight [trailer]
Hearthlands is a real-time strategy game in which you take a role of a king in your own medieval/fantasy realm. You can not control your subjects directly. Instead you focus on city-building, resource management, diplomacy, heroes, magic and other things a typical king deals with on a daily basis. The world of the game, maps, characters and opponents are procedurally generated.

Prelogate

Prelogate (Windows, Mac – Desura, DRM-free) Greenlight [trailer]
Prelogate is a logic puzzle game. Solve puzzles by redirecting laser beams, mixing them and controlling them with logic gates.

The Ingenious Machine: New and Improved Edition

The Ingenious Machine (Windows, Mac – Desura) Greenlight [trailer]
The player is presented with a series of light bulbs, and occasionally some obstacles. The goal of each level is to switch on the light bulbs by creating an elaborate machine out of a pre-defined array of gadgets. The gadgets range from sensible items (such as fans, magnets and conveyor belts) to more extreme items (such as flame-throwers, dynamite and lasers).

Dwarf Tower

Dwarf Tower (Windows, Mac – DRM-free) Greenlight [trailer]
Dwarf Tower is a turn-based tactics game of tower building and spellcasting. Each turn you develop your tower by placing blocks, constructing rooms, and play various spells. Your tower can have Libraries (store spells), Crystals (generate mana), Dwarf Dwellings (give you dwarves to repair the tower) and some other rooms. The crucial room is Archmage’s Chamber. It’s position is hidden from enemy and you must protect it at all costs, or you will lose. Room scheme is very important: the higher you place it, the more powerful it gets.

Irregular Zone

Irregular Zone (Windows – DRM-free) Greenlight [trailer]
Spend your magic to create avatars of your faithful teammates and fight against violent enemies. The story is about a girl who becomes the singularity in another world. And it’s her destiny to save it. But this isn’t a serious war story. Bloody monsters do stupid things carelessly. You’ll find new teammates in your adventure. They could be your prototype of projection. And they also have various classes which make them very different.

You’ve got 10 days and 1 hour to pick up Groupees’ Build A Greenlight 9 before it’s gone… forever!

Whenever a big AAA title claims it'll "innovate with groundbreaking features", it usually turns out to be a snore-fest; one which simply mimics other games (poorly). This is where my interest indie game interest comes from: pick a random title from a pile of these, and chances are you’ll end up with something genuinely unique - often for well less than $60 too.
