Remember when I posted about Steam being crowded? That applies now more than ever, really, given the amount of recent Greenlight escapees. In a way, that’s a good thing, because it means more potentially great games are now… picking up Steam (get it?). But it does also make getting spotted on Valve’s digital storefront rather difficult, compared to, say, two years ago. But that’s just the way it is.

“The Loner”,is a 2D-Action-Adventure Game with Jump and Run parts. It’s not like most adventure games, you always maintain control over the character with your keyboard, no mouse-klicking required. It includes slow and calm parts aswell as action-packed and thrilling parts.

The special feature of this game is that you play it backwards, in fact all the game is played backwards. The music is also composed in reverse. Besides, the game is conceived to be played this way, from the shootings to the levels design. The purpose of the game is to move your cube through the rooms to finally leave the complex or… you ‘ll see. Stoorm is more than 130 levels in 24 rooms.

Konoci Mineta is an orphan living in a slightly Steampunk-inspired world, populated by honorable shapeshifters, obnoxious elves, and the occasional insane dictator. Use her wind magic as she embarks on an epic quest to get ingredients for a smoothie.

Fine Sweeper is a Minesweeper game with additional features such as a campaign mode, item drops and, of course, achievements. And I feel that even casual games like Fine Sweeper deserve to look and feel better than some clunky Windows UI from ‘95 with programmer art.
