Given the current state of affairs across the globe, social distancing is actually encouraged, its importance is not to be underestimated. This has led to a lot of people staying at home as much as possible, binge-watching the odd TV series or catching up on reading. But while those are by no means bad ways to pass time, video games are just… better. As such, how about a collection of discounted games from a variety of developers (including several freebies!)? So, what we have here in this lovely little collection over on itch.io is… a grand total of, at the time of writing, fifty-five indie games from (almost) as many developers who have banded together to do what they can to stop the spread of COVID-19. I mean, whether you’re a massive fan of video games or simply like to dip your toes in that form of entertainment every now and then, there’s no denying the appeal of free games, after all. These are definitely present and accounted for here, and those that aren’t free, well, they still carry steep discounts. Definitely something for everyone too, virtually every genre imaginable partaking.

As you go through the list, do keep in mind that expiration dates on the discounts are going to vary a great deal – some have less than 24 hours to go while there are those that span several months.
