The undead waits for no one, and even less so in Darksburg, where players find themselves forced to make the rather demanding transition from survivor to killing machine. Why? Well, otherwise they… won’t be alive much longer. Oh, and it’s (very) dangerous to go alone, so bring a friend – or better yet, bring several!
While that does sound undeniably enticing, it seems that only by overcoming insurmountable odds and “taking on the highest difficulty levels for even greater rewards” will you truly have saved the town. I think. Or maybe just smash through the recently-dead-but-not-anymore on whatever you find provides the right amount of challenge. Winning is winning, after all.
Assume the role of one of the several survivors with unique skills and personalities, and master their abilities to take on the hardest challenges!
Now, one thing that does leave me ever so slightly puzzled is the fact that players will apparently be able to “explore various maps with different objectives” as they go about, you know, trying to save everyone. In town. The allegedly small town of Darksburg. Objectives like, say, “escape, find the cure, escort, takedown”. Are they (ie. the developer) referring to quests, or does this ARPG actually feature… nah, I really don’t know what to make of that last bit. Let’s go with ‘quests’ and call it a day. Remember, the undead waits for no one…
Darksburg will be on Steam in 2019.
