No one likes being left behind. Even less so when they’re the only person left on a planet, and without any explanation as to why or what happened, which is how cmd error kicks off its futuristic 2D puzzles.
Working to solve physics and logic puzzles might not make a whole lot of sense when you have a bigger overarching mystery to get to the bottom of, but… I mean, it’s a video game. Probably best to simply roll with it and take things one step – and/or puzzle – at a time. With a bit of luck and patience, perhaps everything will eventually, well, be resolved.
Explore and find out what happened as you solve physics and logic puzzles, while keeping yourself out of danger.
Alternatively, you could opt to instead be the creator of maps/levels for other players to try and solve, sharing them via. Steam Workshop, complete with a genuinely evil laugh when they find themselves stuck in your creation.
I mean, sure, it looks relatively simple based on screenshots. But the trailer below reveals a fair amount of complexity, and chances are the available tools can be used to create diabolical contraptions. At least, I’m hoping that’s the case. Puzzle game fans do tend to be a rather devious bunch, as I’m sure you know, and honestly, that’s pretty great. Can’t wait to see what they end up making in cmd error.
cmd error is available on Steam, for $9.99.
