There are many alternate universes out there. DREAMLINED takes place in one of them, and… the internet does not exist over there. Or maybe it does. I’m almost certain it doesn’t. Anyway, in its place, to some extent, “exceptional insights into the workings of the human mind” have been acquired. (Wait, what?)
So, simply put, DREAMLINED is a game about building machines with a healthy dose of automation for good measure. In most games with mechanics like that, the focus is on optimization with some grand goal, sending mankind into space or such. In this one, well, you’re tasked with crushing dreams. Life of a DREAMLINE user.
You have purchased a software/hardware bundle called DREAMLINE, which extracts all ambitions from your mind and allows you to view, edit, and organize them.
If the trailer below is anything to go by, there’ll be quite a few moving parts to manage and with a little bit of luck, oh so many dreams to crush. As for exactly how that part comes into play is a bit of a mystery. Perhaps it’s metaphorical? Or… could it be that you’re actually able to literally demolish people’s dreams? Ah, now that’d be a trip.
Also, purple. Very purple. Purple good.
DREAMLINED is available on Steam and itch.io, with a $5 price tag.
