For most, weekends mean two days off work with some much-needed R&R. But for game developers, it’s a time during which they get to show off what they’ve been working on. I am of course referring to Screenshot Saturday, which involves tweeting screenshots with the #ScreenshotSaturday hashtag; some of which I will be critiquing every Tuesday, in Speculating Screenshots.
Trouble In The Manor (@Charyb_Games)
Anyone else disturbed by the huge “MURDERER” atop that screenshot? No? Well alright. Hmm… maybe it’s a class/role thing? Unfortunately, we won’t know what kind of trouble this manor plays host to until this spring.
Sature (@SS64Games)
From a potential murder-spree to… actually, what is this one? Some kind of puzzle game? I don’t even know where to begin, although it does look interesting. Sorta. Kinda.

RUINED! Wait, what’s with that slider in the lower left? Man is this week’s Speculating Screenshots ever full of questions! And uh, why is that one block grinning like a maniac?
Untitled (@TinyHorseGames)
Ah, there definitely aren’t enough neon-y top-down multiplayer-centric arena blast-your-friends-to-smithereens games out there. I just hope it’ll feature online support, but chances are it’ll be local only.

Why hello there, stylish looking isometric RPG(?), complete with a minimap and everything. Oh, nice lighting too.
The Weaponographist (@PuubaDanny)
So what? Kick some ass I say, then BBQ its remains for a health refill! Or, well, that’s how these things usually work in video games, anyway. Oh wait, could it be that the T-Rex is in fact… the protagonist?
