Welcome to Wildfire, a world in which (almost) everyone’s afraid of you. There’s a reason for that, though: you’re a bloody witch! Or… so the superstitious armies of the Arch Duchess claim, anyway, and you better believe this lot is the exception as they are not afraid of anything. Except you. Maybe. I don’t know. Whatever the case, they are certainly rather keen on hunting you down for a glorious kill. So best put those elemental powers to use. In the name of survival.
Because surely control over the mighty elements couldn’t possibly be misused, right? Right. Still, bad guys are bad and as such, eh, who cares if you BBQ a soldier or two (or several hundred)? Fire and ice do have a non-combatant purpose too, however, in that one can be used to eliminate obstacles while the other could enable you to traverse otherwise impassable terrain. Burn and freeze to your heart’s content, maybe even grow a vine or two with the power over earth, eh? Green fingers and all that.
Take back your home and rescue captive villagers along the way; manipulating the environment to help you and harm your foes.
Oh, keep in mind that, much like in our world, fire and flames will spread here, consuming everything. Everything! Yes, that includes your character and whoever you may have brought along for the journey. A journey that will see you rescuing captive villagers in an attempt to reclaim your home from those aforementioned pesky armies. Whenever you’re not busy trying to either dodge them stealthily or simply set every last one ablaze. Because some people just want to watch the world burn, which just might be totally possible in Wildfire.
Wildfire is available on Steam, GOG.com, and Humble, carrying a $14.99 price tag.
