Save the Dates: PAX East Returns to the Boston Convention Center in 2022

Save the Dates: PAX East Returns to the Boston Convention Center in 2022

It’s finally happening: in 2022, PAX East will be returning to the Boston Convention Center… with very specific health and safety guidelines in place.

Before we get to that though, how about a shoutout to tabletop gaming veteran Aabria Iyengar who’s all set to kick off PAX Unplugged 2021 on December 10 in Philadelphia, PA at the Pennsylvania Convention Center? Undeniably groovy stuff, and it’s right around the corner too!

The next PAX East, on the other hand, might be slightly further away, but at least it’s going to be a return to form – and the Boston Convention Center – when PAX East 2022 kicks off on April 21, 2022, to then close its doors again on April 24, 2022. You won’t be participating in any of the fun this time around without proof of vaccination and face covering, however, and that will also be the case for all PAX events in the foreseeable future. Which I’m perfectly fine with, quite frankly. Just get those damn shots, people.

Alright, so… PAX East badges when? Oh, real soon. For now, three-day badges for PAX Unplugged 2021 are on sale for $75 while individual Friday, Saturday, and Sunday badges are $35 each. Four-day and single-day PAX East badge prices and availability will be announced soon. Real soon. Wait, I just said that. Well…

Whenever a big AAA title claims it'll "innovate with groundbreaking features", it usually turns out to be a snore-fest; one which simply mimics other games (poorly). This is where my interest indie game interest comes from: pick a random title from a pile of these, and chances are you’ll end up with something genuinely unique - often for well less than $60 too.
