Furnishings Go Wherever in Chaotic Moving Sim Sequel ‘Moving Out 2’

While probably not anyone’s first choice after all the furniture – among other things – they simply tossed out the window and barely got it onto the moving truck in one piece before calling it a day, Smooth Moves is still in business. Somehow. Oh, and while Moving Out 2 begins in Packmore, thanks to the invention of inter-dimensional portals, it also goes… to infinity and beyond! (Not really, but it does go places.)

So, who’s ready to become a F.A.R.T. (Furniture Arrangement & Relocation Technician)? Sure, the pay might not be great and the hours are, as far as I’m aware, equally rubbish, but hey – it’s almost guaranteed to be the most fun you’ll have moving furniture. Provided you can avoid the temptation of simply dunking the grill in the pool long enough to finish the job, that is.

We’re not in Packmore anymore… Via inter-dimensional portals you will explore new worlds filled with hilariously silly challenges and chaotic, rib-tickling action.

Tackling each gig in this upcoming physics-based moving simulator doesn’t have to be a solo affair, as an additional F.A.R.T – or as many as three, even – can be brought along for the ride. Online, too, and there’ll even be cross-play to really help this second entry stand well above the first. In case the new characters and outfits weren’t enough. I’m sure they will be to some though, bless them. As for the rest, well, get connected and get moving! The residents of Packmore have lots of moving plans for the coming year, and we really can’t have some evil competitor moving (get it?) on Smooth Moves territory.

Moving Out 2 will be on PC and consoles in 2023.

Whenever a big AAA title claims it'll "innovate with groundbreaking features", it usually turns out to be a snore-fest; one which simply mimics other games (poorly). This is where my interest indie game interest comes from: pick a random title from a pile of these, and chances are you’ll end up with something genuinely unique - often for well less than $60 too.
