The village of Rynoka is once again at peace, in Moonlighter. Nice, calm, relaxing peace. But as I’m sure you know, peace… simply doesn’t last. Not in video games anyway, and that is certainly the case here too, Between Dimensions bringing about a brand new threat for would-be heroes to tackle. Or is it even a threat? Could simply be a new area, one leading through a rather ominous portal, to explore.
Ah, still here? Then I suppose you’ll be wanting some details about Between Dimensions, and/or reason(s) to buy it. Let’s get started then: forget all you thought you knew about the currently available dungeons because they’ve been… repopulated! That’s right, new creatures are now nesting in your old stomping grounds. Not cool, right? Well, then how about you deal with it by kicking some serious you-know-what? Oh, and keep an eye out for that fancy all-new Interdimensional Dungeon as you go about hacking, slashing, and what-have-you, for here there be new stuff. Lots of it. Weapons, rings, you-name-it. The darn thing might even appear in the original dungeons as, uh, a… Corrupted Dungeon. Well, damn.
The wind of change is blowing through Rynoka. A new, cryptic Portal appeared out of nowhere. Does it bring a new threat? Or is it a new way to make an easy profit? And most importantly… are you prepared to enter the unknown?
Further expanding Moonlighter (…because it’s an expansion, eh? eh?), Between Dimensions also comes with a shop upgrade, enabling Will to “showcase his new Interdimensional Items”, new customers (wait, what?), and… a new NPC, The Trader. Oh, and of course, more story, more lore, new enemies, etc. – typical expansion stuff. Do you have what it takes to brave the unknown?
Moonlighter – Between Dimensions is available on Steam, carrying a $6.99 price tag.
