Ready for MAGS February? Because… “It’s About Time”

Tick tock. It’s about time, or so MAGS February’s theme would have you believe. But what is about time? And how? Or who? Why? What is time even? Let’s hope it’ll bring about a lot of new Adventure Game Studio creations! But for now…

…how about a glance at the games that came to be during MAGS January? As always, links with screenshots can be found below, and don’t forget about MAGS February while you’re at it. You know who you are.

Gifting Spirit (Pax Amino)
It’s not easy when you’re young and have no solid income and wish to buy gifts for your family and friends.
After saving up your pocket money all year, the local Christmas market is here, with your money at hand you set off to buy the perfect gifts for your loved ones.

Finding the perfect gifts before running out of time is troublesome business.

Santa Clause in A Flight to Remember (OneDollar)
After some distracted flying Santa accidentally drops several presents. Now it’s up to you to find and repair them so he can continue his deliveries.

Knorrig the Gifted Troublemaker (Pogwizd)
Who said having a pet piggie is a bad idea? Well, you did. Just now. It’s 10 minutes before the festive dinner and you find yourself in a pickle thanks to your pet. Or should we say ‘pigle’. The lovely gift for your sister is gone. Will you manage to get it back in time?

A caixa (Cassiebsg)
A box is delivered at the front door. Intrigued by it Roger picks it and decides  to check it.
But when he opens it, he gets more questions than answers!

Can you help Roger get the answers he seeks?

Whenever a big AAA title claims it'll "innovate with groundbreaking features", it usually turns out to be a snore-fest; one which simply mimics other games (poorly). This is where my interest indie game interest comes from: pick a random title from a pile of these, and chances are you’ll end up with something genuinely unique - often for well less than $60 too.
