Unsurprisingly, LUDICIOUS – Zürich Game Festival will be an all-digital affair this year as LUDICIOUS X. Can’t be helped, given the current state of affairs, but that’s also just about the only thing changed. The focus will (still) be on “quality conversations and connections, providing food for thought, hearts and minds”, which I suspect is why most attend expos nowadays. Oh, and games, of which more than 70 will be exhibited.
So, first things first – dates: from July 1-3, 2020, a variety of options will be available to ticket holders. That last bit can not be stressed enough, as while the Streaming Ticket (Discord+Exhibition) is free, registration is still mandatory. Now, those looking to get more out of LUDICIOUS X will be required to spend a bit, grabbing either a Conference Ticket (25 CHF) or a Business Ticket (45 CHF). That does open up access to things like Main Sessions and Meet to Match, however, the latter of which is… digital mingling. Maybe?
More details on all that can be found by browsing the website, but before you go do that, how about a glance at some of the titles featured in the LUDICIOUS X exhibition? They do after all include personal yet-to-be-released favourites like Figment: Creed Valley, Needlesong, and Weaving Tides, alongside time loop(y) and readily available, Mars Underground. Those are just a few of the 70+ titles that made the cut, so be sure to check out the lot, eh?
Remember: July 1-3, 2020!
