Ugh. School. Never did care much for it. Not that it matters in this case, because here we are with Indie Royale once again taking the ‘back to school’ approach. Fortunately, the contents of this bundle doesn’t seem to involve any kind of studying whatsoever, just… fun and games!
Since this is not the first Indie Royale bundle I’ve covered, what say we keep the explanatory bit brief and get to the games ASAP? There’s a total of six, one of which remains a mystery for the time being. Some come with Steam and/or Desura keys, other only as a 100% DRM-free download, for PC, Mac or Linux. Price tag will go down every time someone pays more than the average, and those who spend more than $6 will also get a chiptune album from Darkman007. Quite simple. Alright, back to school and onto the games.

The game also has various elements of puzzles, where you have to find certain items in order to pass a certain obstacle.

Apple Jack from My Owl Software is about a little man with an apple for a head is now heading for PC in this splendid double pack! Ride enemies, pick them up and HURL them at each other. Dodge spikes, saw blades and huge boss enemies. Over 160 fiendish/head-scratching levels across 8 rural environments. There’s also a beautiful acoustic guitar soundtrack.
Don’t forget that Indie Royale’s Back to School 2 will only be available for little less than ten days, so don’t wait too long; unless you enjoy paying full price for indie games, that is. Nothing wrong with that, but since a bundle has been made available and all – might as well, right?
