Microsoft Teams Up With Twitch for ‘ID@Xbox Spring Showcase’

Microsoft Teams Up With Twitch for ‘ID@Xbox Spring Showcase’

Hard to believe that it’s been almost a full year since the first ID@Xbox/Twitch showcase, or that the last one… I do believe… was all the way back in August of 2021. The wait for another isn’t long, however, as the ID@Xbox Spring Showcase is right around the corner!

Once again, next to nothing has changed about the format, so as for what one should expect to see… well, brand new game announcements, trailers, updates, and gameplay from Finji and Whitethorn, for starters. As for what those ‘new game announcements’ are, yeah, they’re not really willing to spill the beans, dropping a “you need to tune in for to see”, instead. How rude. You mean we actually have to– oh, right. The whole point is to get people to watch the stream. Nevermind.

ID@Xbox and /twitchgaming will be coming together once again to showcase updates and new announcements of amazing games coming to Xbox from independent developers.

Will there be demo reveals? Xbox Game Pass stuff? Any, you know, surprises? Only one way to find out: tune into twitch.tv/twitchgaming and twitch.tv/xbox on Wednesday, March 16 at 10:00 AM PT.

Whenever a big AAA title claims it'll "innovate with groundbreaking features", it usually turns out to be a snore-fest; one which simply mimics other games (poorly). This is where my interest indie game interest comes from: pick a random title from a pile of these, and chances are you’ll end up with something genuinely unique - often for well less than $60 too.
