Humble Bundle Cranks It Up to 11 With Dusty Tails, Twisted Sisters and More

February 18th, 2014 Wraithkal News
Humble Bundle Cranks It Up to 11 With Dusty Tails, Twisted Sisters and More

Impressive. Very impressive, actually. Consistency is key when it comes to bundles, and just like Humble Indie Bundle X, this one also has quality games and some amazing soundtracks! Six games in total, eight albums (two for Monaco and Antichamber) – you’d be a fool to pass up a deal like this!

Don’t ya just love cross-platform DRM-free games, with complimentary Steam keys? Because that’s exactly what you’re gonna get, should you choose to grab this one. Well, except for Giana Sisters: Twisted Dreams, which is not available for Mac or Linux just yet. Price tag? Whatever-the-beep-you-want! Although as always, three (and more as the bundle approaches its expiration date) of the included titles are locked ‘beat the average’ wall, which at the time of writing reads $3.83. Don’t forget that you can freely decide who (Humble, developers, charity) gets how much, by adjusting the sliders during purchase. Yay, charity!

guacamelee_

Guacamelee! Gold Edition [PWYW]
Guacamelee! builds upon the classic open-world Metroid-vania style of games, by adding a strong melee combat component, a new dimension switching mechanic, and cooperative same-screen multiplayer for the entire story. The game also blurs the boundaries between combat and platforming by making many of the moves useful and necessary for both of these.

Dust: An Elysian Tail

Dust: An Elysian Tail [PWYW] (review)
Immerse yourself in a gorgeous hand-painted world on a search for your true identity. As the mysterious warrior, Dust, your action-packed journey will take you from peaceful glades to snowy mountaintops and beyond. At your disposal is the mythical Blade of Ahrah, capable of turning its wielder into an unstoppable force of nature, and the blade’s diminutive guardian, Fidget.

Giana Sisters: Twisted Dreams

Giana Sisters: Twisted Dreams [PWYW]
Fluidly morph between two dynamically different dream worlds to solve puzzles and combat grueling enemies. Players will have to intertwine sweet Giana’s twirling jump attack with Punk Giana’s hammering dash attack to survive the dualling dimensions.

the swapper_

The Swapper [Beat The Average]
Holder of numerous awards and accolades, the Swapper is an atmospheric puzzle platformer set in the furthest reaches of space. Players wield an experimental device able to clone the user and swap control between them. Dropped into a character and world as mysterious as the workings of the device itself, The Swapper is a game of exploration of a very personal nature.

Antichamber

Antichamber [Beat The Average]
Antichamber is a mind-bending psychological exploration game where nothing can be taken for granted. Discover an Escher-like world where hallways wrap around upon each other, spaces reconfigure themselves, and accomplishing the impossible may just be the only way forward.

Monaco: What's Yours Is Mine

Monaco: What’s Yours Is Mine [Beat The Average]
Monaco: What’s Yours Is Mine is a single player or co-op heist game. Assemble a crack team of thieves, case the joint, and pull off the perfect heist.

Don’t forget that Humble Indie Bundle 11 will only be available for little less than fourteen days, so don’t wait too long; unless you enjoy paying full price for indie games, that is. Nothing wrong with that, but since a bundle has been made available and all – might as well, right?

Whenever a big AAA title claims it'll "innovate with groundbreaking features", it usually turns out to be a snore-fest; one which simply mimics other games (poorly). This is where my interest indie game interest comes from: pick a random title from a pile of these, and chances are you’ll end up with something genuinely unique - often for well less than $60 too.
