Romance during lockdown can be complicated at the best of times. Unless you’re living together of course, but unfortunately, the couple in Half Past Fate: Romantic Distancing didn’t get that far before you know what hit the fan. Is their love strong enough to survive who-knows-how-long apart?
So get snoopy and become a proverbial fly-on-the-wall in the living spaces of Robin and Stephen, in this slice-of-life story set amidst a pandemic. Examine their choice of interior decor, roommate(s), musical tastes, and likely other aspects too. When you’re stuck in a single location for unknown amounts of time, well, you better do your darndest to make sure it’s as nice as humanly possible, after all. While I’m not convinced the home of either protagonist would win any design awards, eh, at least they still keep it tidy. Somewhat.
Cozy up with their quarantine story and see if they’ll find a way to stay connected in the weirdest of times in this new episode of the Half Past Fate story.
Can the same be said about their relationship, however, now that it’s limited to video chats? Hard to say. I think most people would struggle under such restraints, but you never know – maybe Robin and Stephen are the exceptions, the ones who actually endure the hardships and come out on top… eventually. Oh, and figuring out ‘what the heck “defragging” does’ is also possible in Half Past Fate: Romantic Distancing. Eh, kids and their weird slang nowadays. Grumble.
Half Past Fate: Romantic Distancing is available on Steam and Switch, carrying a $5.99 price tag.
