Yay, alternate history! I often wonder what life would be like today, had the 19th century actually been as portrayed in steampunk fiction. Probably really strange and amazing, with all kinds of trouble – basically, about the same. Anyway, you better have a buck to spare for this great mix of music, games, and ebooks!
It’s been a while since Groupees last did a steampunk-flavored bundle, and not a lot has changed since. You can still grab the entire thing for $1, although do keep in mind that paying more is an option (hint hint). The lineup does, after all, consist of games, musical contributions, ebooks, and comics, so… please don’t be cheap, eh? No matter how much (or little) you choose to pay, the six extras – once unlocked – will all be added to your profile. But enough of that – onto the good stuff!
Bionic Dues (Windows, Mac, Linux – Steam)
Bionic Dues is a tactical, turn-based roguelite with mech customization. Guide multiple classes of Exos through a variety of missions filled with enemy robots that are as buggy as they are angry. Airship Dragoon (Windows – Desura, DRM-free) Greenlight
Airship Dragoon is a steampunk old-school, hardcore, single-player, turn-based, squad tactics game in the style of Julian Gollop’s seminal UFO/X-Com series. Syberia (Windows – Steam)
Kate Walker, a young ambitious lawyer from New York, is handed what seems a fairly straight forward assignment – a quick stopover to handle the sale of an old automaton factory hidden in the alpine valleys, then straight back home to the US. Little did she imagine when embarking on this task that her life would be turned upside down.
Syberia II (Windows – Steam)
Having searched Eastern and Western Europe for a missing heir, Kate Walker finally completed her long and arduous journey, obtaining the signature of Hans Voralberg and closing the automaton factory buyout. Mission accomplished?

Johnny Hollow Collection (MP3)
Johnny Hollow is a Canadian band based in Toronto, Ontario, whose dark blend of electronic and orchestral sounds has been described as Gothic chamber music for the 21st century. It may be one of Indie music’s best kept secrets – stashed away in their own little Pandora’s box, where they like it nice and cozy and full of creative freedom and unbridled expressionism.
Tales of Jack The Ripper (EPUB, MOBI, PDF)
1888: One hundred and twenty-five years ago, a killer stalked the streets of London’s Whitechapel district, brutally–some would say ritualistically–murdering five women (that we know of): Mary Ann Nichols, Annie Chapman, Elizabeth Stride, Catherine Eddowes, and Mary Jane Kelly. The story of Jack the Ripper captured lurid headlines and the public’s imagination, and the first fictionalization of the Ripper killings, John Francis Brewer’s The Curse Upon Mitre Square appeared in October of 1888, mere weeks after the discovery of Jack’s first victim.

All the while they fuse their eclectic sounds with visual antics such as confetti snow storms, tuba farts, and puppets of various sorts. In the process, they create a modern slant on the good old days of Vaudeville and present a performance unique from any other in their genre.

Telepath RPG: Servants of God (Windows, Mac, Linux – Steam, Desura)
You are a telepath with the power to read and manipulate minds–or destroy them. The city-state of Ravinale has been overtaken by a zealous theocracy. Rescued from an unjust imprisonment, you have only one chance to save your homeland. Explore the continent, recruit soldiers, strike deals with different factions, and fight to reclaim the home you once knew.
Don’t forget that Groupees’ Steampunk 2 will only be available for a little less than fourteen days, so don’t wait too long; unless you enjoy paying full price for indie games, and don’t care about expanding your music library, of course. Nothing wrong with that, but since a bundle has been made available and all – might as well, right?
