They… they… th– they… DID IT AGAIN! Holy Christmas, Batman! A hundred titles (96 games, for those keeping score at home) greenlit. Wow. Just in time for the holiday season too. Or, well, a bit early, but still ridiculously awesome! Even more so, since three of them are previous Greenlight Limbo picks. Yay, the system works!
So which are they? Why, I’m glad you asked: Beware Planet Earth!, Ichi and Wyv and Keep; the last two have actually been trying since day one. Quite maddening, if I do say so myself. That said, this being the third batch of hundred, I’m starting to wonder if Valve’s trying to tell us something with these huge batches. Like, say, could they be trying to push everything through, in preparation to shut down the service? Nah. That couldn’t be it. Surely that’s just me being delusional.
Whatever the case, the December 4 batch is overflowing with great stuff, and that’s as good a reason as any to celebrate! The Last Door, One Finger Death Punch, Probably Archery… good gracious, there are almost too many good games. Almost. If such a thing was possible. Which it isn’t.
Although whilst celebrating, we mustn’t forget that there is a ridiculous amount of games still on Greenlight, trying to rack up enough votes to get through. Speaking of, remember my Stuck In Greenlight Limbo series? THREE (woohoo!) picks made it through, which fills me with joy as it shows my efforts were not in vain. But there are still plenty in Greenlight Limbo, so how about showing them some appreciation before checking out the list of 100, eh? Pretty please?
