Pick up the ‘Gender Constellation Bundle’, Support Gender-/Sex-marginalized Developers

Making a game, putting it out there, marketing it in the hopes of finding even a small audience can be a struggle. Being gender-/sex-marginalized easily multiplies that struggle by… a lot. It shouldn’t, but even though we’ve come as far as 2022, it’s still not entirely uncommon to have a person create something genuinely striking, only to have it bashed or downright ignored because it came from the mind of a cis woman, nonbinary, trans man/woman, or similar. So how about showing support through the Gender Constellation Bundle, get some groovy games while you’re at it?

Simply put, $5 will get you no less than 32(!) projects over on itch.io, provided you grab the bundle in the next… let’s see… little under eight days, at the time of writing! While I’d gladly boast about how I’m super familiar with every title featured, I have only covered Riba (review) and Cover Me In Leaves (review).

Interested in romance sims? Logic-puzzle games? Nonviolent games? Meditation aids? Kinetic horror novels? Action-adventure TTRPGs? Or just weird experiments?

These and many more are found here! Check it out to support a diverse group of creators, and play many unique experiences 🌟

A quick glance reveals plenty of interesting stuff, however, like Shutter Stroll and Buggle Trussle. What else? Well, jump right in, see for yourself!

Whenever a big AAA title claims it'll "innovate with groundbreaking features", it usually turns out to be a snore-fest; one which simply mimics other games (poorly). This is where my interest indie game interest comes from: pick a random title from a pile of these, and chances are you’ll end up with something genuinely unique - often for well less than $60 too.
