Welcome to the Moon Palace! Please ‘Enjoy the Diner’

August 15th, 2023 Wraithkal News

Hungry? Thirsty? Or perhaps what you crave is instead some general chit-chat? Whichever it is, rest assured, the eternal Moon Palace has you covered. So, by all means, please Enjoy the Diner.

Don’t you just love video games with a setting so wild that there is simply no way to experience anything remotely like it in our world? Such is most certainly the case with Enjoy the Diner, a mix of multi-choice and point ‘n click adventure set in a diner that, well, never closes. Its location also seems to be a bit of a mystery, or maybe that’s just wishful thinking on my behalf. Would certainly add to the overall experience, you know?

With multiple endings, one of which unlocks additional content(!), a repeat visit to the Moon Palace really should be on the menu, for how else are you to partake in everything on offer? Seeing how it’ll likely take somewhere between 2 and 3 hours to complete, replaying isn’t exactly a daunting task in terms of sheer time investment, either. Besides, can you really say no to another trip to the drink fountain? Go on, Enjoy the Diner.

Enjoy the Diner is available on Steam and will be on Switch soon, for $10.99.

Whenever a big AAA title claims it'll "innovate with groundbreaking features", it usually turns out to be a snore-fest; one which simply mimics other games (poorly). This is where my interest indie game interest comes from: pick a random title from a pile of these, and chances are you’ll end up with something genuinely unique - often for well less than $60 too.
