It’s not uncommon to have an item accompany one into a deep, peaceful slumber. Something, like, say, a Comfort Pillow, perhaps. But what if, upon reaching for said pillow, you found a strange person in its place?
Chances are most would panic and wonder just how said person got into their home, much less their bed, in the first place. This is pretty much also how the protagonist in Comfort Pillow reacted, far more interested in sleeping the day away than anything else, up to that point.
Obviously, there’s more to it than that, as otherwise this already rather short visual novel would have even less content. I mean, the fact that they who has taken the place of the pillow is rather cute certainly seems to help diffuse this somewhat volatile situation.
But what then? Back to the plan of sleeping the day away, only with a different kind of comfort pillow? Well, see, saying much more would involve venturing too far into spoiler territory for my tastes, and it would be a shame to ruin the experience with such.
That aside, despite the short runtime, Comfort Pillow does contain multiple endings, and it’s not overly difficult to reach both either. In some 10-15 minutes, too, depending on your reading speed. Those are some 10-15 minutes quite well spent though, and as such, I’d highly recommend giving it a go. Oh, and bring a pillow. Just in case.
