Bob’s missing? Bob? Bob, as in, Alfonzo’s best friend, Bob? That Bob? Well, crap. Guess that means Alfonzo had better be off on a journey to collect as many fish as possible, because… they’re Bob’s favorite food, and that’ll somehow help you find him. I guess? I don’t know. Let’s just chalk it up to video game logic in Alfonzo’s Arctic Adventure.
Armed with only a stick (wait, what?), more than ninety levels lie between Alfonzo and Bob, in what is bound to be a spectacular arctic adventure. Levels “filled with puzzles, traps, and enemies around every corner”. Ouch. Something tells me you’d better make sure to get friendly with “the power-punching Magnus, the near-invulnerable Fenwood, and the sword-wielding Girl”, to even the odds somewhat in this NES platformer.
Think you’ve got what it takes? I sincerely hope so, as otherwise, poor ol’ Bob is doomed. Doooooomed… doooooo– alright, you get the picture.
Alfonzo’s Arctic Adventure will be available on the NES (yes, really), come April 1, 2019. Demo? Right here.
