Seventy-five. Wow. That’s a lot of indie games, and there’ll actually be even more than that during Wholesome Direct 2021. Exclusive footage, reveals, interviews, announcements… groovy stuff!
Indie games. With E3 still happening this year, seeing how that one’s all but guaranteed to focus pretty much exclusively on the realm of AAA, honestly, we could do with something similar for independently developed titles. Something like what Wholesome Games announced yesterday in the form of Wholesome Direct 2021, a stream featuring – as previously mentioned – more than 75(!) indie games. With Guerrilla Collective, Twitch, IGN, and GameSpot onboard, as Wholesome Games put it, “Wholesome Direct will reach even more players this year”.

That really just leaves one important thing: when? Soon! Okay, relatively soon, anyway: June 12 at 10 am PT / 1 pm ET. I know what you’re thinking: “but that’s the same day as E3”. Well, when was the last time E3 truly left a lasting impression? Because I… honestly don’t remember.
Indie game-focused events like Wholesome Direct and Nintendo Indie World Showcase, on the other hand? Overflowing with good stuff.
