‘Wadjet Eye: Sixteen Years of Adventure!’ Bundles Just That

‘Wadjet Eye: Sixteen Years of Adventure!’ Bundles Just That

It’s been a while since a video game bundle last graced the pages of this great blog of mine. Mostly because there simply haven’t been any that fell within the whole, you know, indie game thing. I may stray from that path once in a blue moon, but Wadjet Eye Games haven’t. They’re all about that indie… vibe? Right. Anyway, enough pre-amble. Thirteen games, one price: Wadjet Eye: Sixteen Years of Adventure!

In case you’re unfamiliar with Wadjet Eye Games, well, I did review the entire Blackwell saga. Sure, the fifth and final entry did come out almost ten years ago at the time of writing, but believe me, they still hold up – every last one of them. That also goes for the likes of Gemini Rue and The Shivah. Haven’t had a chance to play the remaining half-or-so that make up this here bundle, although I’d be very surprised to find a dip in quality.

Anything else? Ah yes, the bundle will be gone in 20 days and change – in other words, early February. Oh, almost forgot to mention how the bundle includes a 33% off coupon for The Excavation of Hob’s Barrow, a groovy-looking title published by Wadjet Eye Games last September. Thirteen games and one coupon, then? Pretty sweet deal for $10 if you ask me, so what are you waiting for?

Whenever a big AAA title claims it'll "innovate with groundbreaking features", it usually turns out to be a snore-fest; one which simply mimics other games (poorly). This is where my interest indie game interest comes from: pick a random title from a pile of these, and chances are you’ll end up with something genuinely unique - often for well less than $60 too.
