Never once did I think being a goose could bring about tremendous joy. Then I watched the Untitled Goose Game trailer, and now I want nothing more than to honk at unsuspecting villagers while causing all kinds of mischief. What could possibly go wrong?
Well, if you’re the poor people who live in the village upon which said goose has been let loose… everything! That’s what makes it so great though – provided you don’t get caught that is. Pulling pranks and stealing low-value everyday items is bound to piss off the locals after all (for some reason), so as depicted by the above screenshot, you’d do well to find a hiding spot before getting started.
It’s a lovely morning in the village and you are a horrible goose.
Of equal importance is the game’s art style, everything soaked in a low-poly(?) style with smooth animations and… so much honking. Uh, right. Sorry. Got distracted for a second, daydreaming about getting my hands on Untitled Goose Game and becoming the greatest prankster its world has ever seen. Honks shall haunt the dreams of everyone who’s been exposed to it, in one form or another, until the end of days. It will be absolutely glorious. Now, where was I? Ah yes: honk!
Untitled Goose Game will be on Steam and Switch in 2019.
