It’s sickening how people seem to lose their ability to think straight and act like civilized human beings, the moment they’re given even a smidge of power. Which I’d wager is exactly what’s happening right now as, to quote the TTRPGs for Reproductive Rights bundle page, “reproductive rights are under attack”. But with a little luck, a lot of effort, and a bit more luck, we’ll hopefully be able to drop some common sense on the powers that be.
Oh, before we get started: much like the TTRPGs for Trans Rights in Texas! bundle from back in March, this one is also all bout TTRPGs – as in, TableTop Role-Playing Games. Not video games. The print-and-play kind. The kind that has you sitting around a table, and… well, you know what I mean, right? A lot of people do still play those after all, and not just heavy-hitters like Dungeons & Dragons either. With no less than 291 items for a meager $5, this one (again, like the TTRPGs for Trans Rights in Texas!) is an absolute steal. Plus, reproductive rights support, as proceeds are donated to Planned Parenthood and National Network of Abortion Funds, both of which are hard at work in defense of reproductive rights. Something that, as already noted, is under attack.
According to a leaked opinion, conservative Supreme Court justices are planning to overturn Roe v Wade. Join us in raising funds to support and protect abortion rights—now is the time to act and make our voices heard!
Now, while I do tend to pretty much exclusively cover video games of the indie variety, there will be times when exceptions are made for specific purposes. Like, say, this bundle. A total of 201 creators teamed up for TTRPGs for Reproductive Rights, and honestly, I’m extremely impressed. It’s doing really well too, which is bound to benefit those aforementioned charities, and hopefully, it’ll go well into the hundreds of thousands, by the time it’s run its course. Perhaps you can help it along? Helping get the word out there only costs you a moment of your time, and believe me, it will be worth it.
TTRPGs for Reproductive Rights will be available for another… let’s see… little under 28 days.
