Way back in March, I shared a genuinely groovy doggy treat in the form of a release date for the dog shelter sim, To The Rescue!, and as time goes by, well, I’m only getting more excited to play the game. If you’re anything like me in that regard, perhaps this new trailer alongside an interesting reveal might make the wait seem less long.
So, first things first… is what I would say, although I am fully aware that nothing shall prevent you from just watching the trailer right now, skipping all this. Seriously though, I come barking news and the news is good – April 30 was National Adopt a Shelter Pet Day and on that day, To The Rescue! announced its official charity companion, The Petfinder Foundation. But why them?
Little Rock Games will be donating 20% of the title’s profits to The Petfinder Foundation.
To quote Olivia Dunlap, co-founder of Little Rock Games: “When we chose the charity partner for our game we wanted to make sure our donation would have the biggest impact possible”. Lovely stuff. Ah, in case you’re now wondering what the charity is actually all about, but don’t feel like checking their website (really?), their main focus is to boost the effectiveness of animal adoption programs; or in other words, to ensure as many of man’s best friend as possible get the best possible new home/family ASAP.
Last but not least… a new trailer with story treats from the dog shelter sim that’ll be on Steam (and Switch), come Q3 2021, To The Rescue!.
