Time. Time waits for no man, but perhaps one will be able to fix it? Although, well, Dodger, aka. the “dishwashing dude”, probably isn’t the perfect pick for the task. He is the one though. Maybe. Tachyon Dreams Anthology (and Dodger, I suppose) has a lot of ground to cover and the clock’s ticking!
Is he qualified to handle a cosmic crisis of epic proportions such as this? Probably not, although I suppose that is where the “80s-style comedy” part of the game comes into play, and who doesn’t like a bit of nonsensical fun with their text-parser adventuring?
Now, typing commands rather than pointing and clicking might sound a bit archaic to some, but trust me, give it a chance. It’ll click before you know it. Just like the keys on your keyboard. Click click. One letter at a time, and before you know it, Dodger will have fixed it. Time, that is. Not your keyboard.
Fair, modern design – no dead ends, no deaths, all puzzles make sense! Too much sense!
Ahem. Anyway, in case you’re as puzzled by the ‘anthology’ part of the name as Dodger is by the conundrum he finds himself in: Tachyon Dreams was originally a free trilogy of games, bundled with, to quote the creator, “more rooms to explore, more items to collect, more puzzles to solve, more story – more of everything!”
Sounds pretty darn groovy, right?
Tachyon Dreams Anthology is available on Steam and itch.io for $4.99.
