This time the spotlight will be shining on Xenominer, a blocky, dangerous, complex adventure… in space! So let’s help it escape the cold emptiness of Greenlight limbo, eh?
While on assignment in deep space, you have crash landed and find yourself a castaway on a resource-rich moon. Survival won’t be easy: your oxygen tank is running on empty, the local star is bombarding you with radiation, and something sinister is lurking in the shadows. Once you’ve mastered survival, you can see all the world has to offer. Build the space colony of your dreams. Explore the long-lost remnants of an ancient and powerful civilization. Luckily, you’re not completely alone: Your AI companion has survived in the on-board computer systems and is ready to help build the equipment you’ll need to survive.
Now, while in this day and age, blocky voxel-based survival titles aren’t exactly uncommon, Xenominer is still among the more impressive of the lot, what with its atmospheric sci-fi theme, complex crafting mechanics, colourful visuals and all. Oxygen needs to be managed, equipment crafted to allow for traversing of tricky terrain, and who knows – maybe you’ll even manage to piece together a droid or two at some point, easing the workload significantly? Maybe. Or maybe you’ll perish in the cold emptiness of space, devoured by some unknown hostile thing or other. Gather fast, build fast, and build smart, because survival is (almost) entirely up to you, and remember that in space… no one can hear you scream. No one.
So riddle me this, dear reader: why is Xenominer still struggling to shine through Greenlight? It’s out already, so… how about visiting its Greenlight page and handing over a ‘yes’ if you like what you see? Remember: your vote could make all the difference!
