This time the spotlight will be shining on Voidship: The Long Journey, in which you’re tasked with… a century-long mission (no, really). Let’s help it boldly go where no man has gone before, and of course, out of Greenlight limbo!
You are the captain of a modular spaceship entrusted with a mission which might take centuries to complete. Gather resources, crew and technology to build your spaceship into a titan warship to fulfill your objective.
Told ya. Century-long mission, right there! Several, in fact, which means you’d better not mess up. Ever. New crew-members and replacement parts are likely far between, and there’s no telling if what you manage to encounter / gather will even be useful for your setup or what lies ahead, in this randomly generated universe. So shoot first and ask questions never, because chances are every single alien race that has the misfortune of encountering your battlecruiser will behave similarly. Besides, given the rather obvious emphasis on war, mayhem, destruction, chaos, and all that good stuff… who needs diplomacy anyway? Best of luck, captain!
So riddle me this, dear reader: why do YOU think Voidship: The Long Journey is still struggling to get through Greenlight? It might not be out just yet (“Mid-Late 2016”), but even so – how about visiting its Greenlight page with a click on the ‘yes’ button if you like what you see? Your vote could make all the difference, in these deepest, darkest corners of space…
