Being shipwrecked doesn’t mean your adventuring days are over. Far from, in fact, for as long as you’re alive, you can start over! And in Stranded Sails – Explorers of the Cursed Islands, that’s exactly what you’ll have to do: set up a camp for the survivors, establish the beginnings of what will eventually become a farm capable of keeping everyone fed, and eventually, build a new ship. Why? Well, there are other islands to visit, so surely you don’t want to spend the rest of your natural life without doing a little exploring?
Not all is as it seems, however, as you will soon discover upon venturing out and about into the wilderness, supernatural(!) dangers lurking around every which corner. Basically, be careful. Without you, what little remains of the crew stand little to no chance, after all. But the opposite also holds true, for if unhappy and hungry, they will not provide you with tool upgrades or enable certain – very useful – shortcuts! So while the survival of its protagonist is the main thing in just about any video games… in this one, I’d say all are actually created equal. Or to be treated as equals. Or some such. You know what I mean.
So what are you waiting for? Hit those other islands and get to cooking! Keep up those energy levels as you embark on one adventure after another, expanding the camp ever so gradually along the way. The wilderness is by no means a safe haven, but you know what they say: he who dares wins, and in this case, the prize is… to escape these islands. What? No, you can’t simply build a ship and set sail after gathering the required resources like there is no curs– uh, I mean…
Right. Okay, so I may have forgotten to mention one tiny little detail: this particular archipelago is very much… cursed, and only by removing it will you be able to leave. Yeah. Minor detail. Right. Back to it then. There are crops to tend to, mouths to feed, exploring to do – hours of fun adventuring and farming awaits (complete with a spooky curse) in Stranded Sails – Explorers of the Cursed Islands!
