It’s Heist Time in ‘Slippery Flippers: Episode One – Amulet of the Gods’

It’s Heist Time in ‘Slippery Flippers: Episode One – Amulet of the Gods’

Orlando used to live the peaceful life of a farmer-slash-cowboy on Pluto. But those days are long gone, and he’s now the leader of a crew of misfits who – generally speaking – are up to no good. Like, say, their latest mission, which involves the theft of an amulet with unknown godlike power that’s just sitting in a museum, begging to be stolen. Will his plan lead to riches or ruin in Slippery Flippers: Episode One – Amulet of the Gods?

To say the odds are stacked against them would be quite an understatement. Who knows though, perhaps a cocky penguin like Orlando, a quiet polar bear like Walter, Veda the stylish axolotl, and their tech enthusiast, Chip, will be able to pull it off. As for whether it’ll be worth it in the end, now that’s another matter entirely. Artifacts like this one aren’t always as they seem, after all. To quote the official description, “its exact power has yet to be discovered”. Yeah, that’s never a good sign.

Can his crew outwit Riggs and Luca, the local law enforcement, and steal the Amulet of the Gods?

With 17.000 words and four different endings, a lot can and will happen before the credits roll, no matter the outcome. Will it end with a big payday or years upon years behind bars for Orlando, Walter, Veda, and Chip? One way to find out, and thankfully, Slippery Flippers: Episode One – Amulet of the Gods is available right now!

Slippery Flippers: Episode One – Amulet of the Gods is available on Steam and itch.io, for $3.99.

Whenever a big AAA title claims it'll "innovate with groundbreaking features", it usually turns out to be a snore-fest; one which simply mimics other games (poorly). This is where my interest indie game interest comes from: pick a random title from a pile of these, and chances are you’ll end up with something genuinely unique - often for well less than $60 too.
