Work Together to Survive Setting Sail on a ‘Ship of Fools’

Work Together to Survive Setting Sail on a ‘Ship of Fools’

It has been said that only a fool does not fear the sea, and in Ship of Fools, the Fools are the only creatures foolish enough to brave it. Eventually, without a doubt, their journey will bring about chaos and mayhem, in the best way possible.

Once upon a time, the Archipelago was protected by The Great Lighthouse. Now, however, it is but a broken landmark without purpose. Much like you and your shipmate aboard The Stormstrider, although I suppose treasure hunting does qualify as a purpose. Of sorts. Provided you’re able to survive long enough to discover such valuables. Becoming fish food isn’t overly difficult, but that doesn’t mean it’s something to strive for either, for obvious reasons. So keep an eye on your ship and get to unlocking trinkets and artifacts aplenty, some of which just might save your very lives!

The mighty Aquapocalypse may loom on the horizon, but don’t let that stop you from venturing deep into uncharted territory, braving storms to visit islands that may or may not contain something to aid you on your journey – whether you opt to go at it alone or bring a friend. Oh, almost forgot: choosing which Fool to embody actually matters, as each has its own unique ability; which you’ll need to fend off those gruesome colossal leviathans. Are you brave enough to make a Fool of these stormy waters?

Ship of Fools aims to set sail on Steam, come November 22, 2022.

Wraithkal

Whenever a big AAA title claims it'll "innovate with groundbreaking features", it usually turns out to be a snore-fest; one which simply mimics other games (poorly). This is where my interest indie game interest comes from: pick a random title from a pile of these, and chances are you’ll end up with something genuinely unique - often for well less than $60 too.
