PAX East, PAX West, and PAX Unplugged Could Potentially Return in 2021

PAX East, PAX West, and PAX Unplugged Could Potentially Return in 2021

A brand new year is right around the corner, and even though the world is still turned completely upside down by an ongoing pandemic, the PAX organizers remain hopeful that 2021 is going to be different enough that the popular Penny Arcade Expo will be back in full effect.

So, fingers crossed for a much improved 2021, and with it, a return to form for PAX East, PAX West, and PAX Unplugged. PAX South? Not gonna happen, as there is simply no way the situation will be different enough by then. Of course, there is also no guarantee regarding the other three, even though they – as you can tell from the dates below – are scheduled for the latter half of 2021, but their odds are certainly better as a lot can happen in six months and change.

  • PAX East will take place June 3 – 6, 2021
  • PAX West will take place September 3 – 6, 2021
  • PAX Unplugged will take place December 10 – 12, 2021

While it hardly compares to the ‘offline version’, another PAX Online is still a perfectly viable alternative if 2021 turns out to be another rough year, ya know? Gotta love technology!

Whenever a big AAA title claims it'll "innovate with groundbreaking features", it usually turns out to be an absolute snorefest - one which simply mimics other games (poorly). This is where my interest in indie games comes from: pick a random title from a pile of indie games and chances are you’ll hit something downright unique and different, often for well less than $60 too.
