Less than 24 hours ago, during their most recent Indie World Showcase stream, Nintendo revealed a sizeable batch of indie games heading for the Switch in the near future. For the most part. In some cases, more like ‘the not-so-near future’. That said, as always with these, it’s a mix of titles readily available on other platforms and… of course… the odd exclusive.
Were I to pick a few favourites from the lineup, however, it’d probably be… well… uh. I… ALL OF THEM! No, seriously. They all look really cool, from the trippy pixelated The Touryst to the physics-based skateboarding of Skater XL and of course, given how long I’ve spent with both the first and Dungeon Defenders II, Dungeon Defenders Awakened is one I have high hopes for. Even more so since it seems their goal is to bring back what was so great about Dungeon Defenders, while maintaining certain ‘modernizations’, in this upcoming third entry. What, “fourth”? No. Dungeon Defenders Eternity doesn’t exist (anymore).
Hmm. Guess pointing out a select few wasn’t impossible after all, huh? I guess all that remains is to drop the list below and wait impatiently for the lot to arrive, so without further ado…
