Concord, the youngest grape in The Grove, sure has their work cut out for them as there’s an entire island to restore – and… well, no one else is going to do it. I mean, friends being friends and all, are obviously going to help. Even so, dealing with the dangerous Rot and convincing everyone to help a poor grape out is bound to make for quite the adorable little Garden Story.
While there’s a lot to do as Concord goes about exploring this lush, living world, do be careful not to end up so buried in requests and favours from everyone that how to relax becomes but a distant memory. All work and no play, ya know? With garden plots to care for, buildings to reconstruct, resources to gather, and of course, the Rot to deal with, there’s always something to do. Always somewhere to go.
Unify a broken community as the newly-appointed Guardian of The Grove.
But while Concord’s newfound status as a Guardian does carry quite a burden, as long as they indulge in the occasional musical interlude, I’m sure everything will be fine. Just keep those tools upgraded and wits every bit as sharp, and the island will be back to normal before long. One step at a time. Rome wasn’t (re)built in a single day either.
Ah, and do you know what makes all of that even better? The fact that Garden Story is coated in a lovely art style, no matter which of the four regions Concord travels to. So go forth, little grape; go forth and build! Build like there’s no tomorrow… because if the Rot has its way, there might not be. That pesky Rot.
Garden Story will be hitting Steam and Switch… this summer.
