At a Glance: Twenty ‘MomoCon 2019’ Indie Awards Finalists

May 8th, 2019 Wraithkal News

M is for May, but also MomoCon, where – true to tradition – a large handful of indie games will be competing in the MomoCon Indie Awards Showcase. The battle will be fierce and only five of the twenty finalists, as judged by a group of journalists and an indie developer, will be walking away with a prize, and a rather lovely prize at that.

For those looking to attend this year’s MomoCon – May 23rd – 26th in Atlanta, GA – registration is still open! Only interested in the finalists? Well, I have taken the liberty of listing all the games below, as depicted in the source. So… may the best indie games win.

Whenever a big AAA title claims it'll "innovate with groundbreaking features", it usually turns out to be a snore-fest; one which simply mimics other games (poorly). This is where my interest indie game interest comes from: pick a random title from a pile of these, and chances are you’ll end up with something genuinely unique - often for well less than $60 too.
